A heartfelt congratulations to Ruter Dam’s founder, Gunilla Arhén! ♦️

Gunilla, who founded Ruter Dam and served as CEO for over 30 years, has been awarded the title of Commander of the Order of Vasa – “for outstanding contributions to women’s leadership.”

A well-deserved and prestigious recognition for a true pioneer who has paved the way for hundreds of female leaders in Swedish business. We are proud, grateful – and deeply honored to carry forward the legacy and mission of Ruter Dam.

In this interview, conducted in February 2023, she talks about successes and challenges over 30 years, both for the organization and for the goal of getting more women into senior management positions. Interviews are conducted by ANDERS SJÖMAN, Center for Business History, who also wrote the book about Ruter Dam 30 years ago, together with Gunilla.
